With the advancement of equipment and software using the midi language the door really has opened to creating quality sounding drum tracks available to everyone, not just high end studios. New drum software synths are staking a claim to be a desirable and viable option in many musicians and producers compositions allowing greater freedom and expression than ever before across literally every genre imaginable.
Utilizing new midi drum hardware Beatzandbreakz have recorded professional drummers who work within todays music industry with some of the newest talent around and produced three products that we, but most importantly the drummers themselves, are extremely proud of.

For our Rock package our grooves are different full stop. We have moved away from the midi drum crowd and have produced grooves you can actually use, how have we done this?. Our drummers know what is needed in your compositions and more importantly what is not. They know that for to days modern music a drummer has to sit nicley in a track and not try to steal the show. Having noticed in other Midi libraries and bundled grooves that come with drum soft synths that this is not the case, we decided to create our own. To capture the very human aspect of drumming we recorded each drummers performance as he played with other musicians. The finished product, unquantized and conveniently chopped into sections i.e intro, verse ,chorus etc, easily and very quickly allows you to create and manipulate a drum track that has the expression of every drumming performance, letting you get on with what you want to do, which is to make music. We feel this gives such a realistic drum track ,it is hard to know the difference. Try the demo grooves for proof!!!
Our Hip Hop package is produced in the same way as our rock package and is packed with grooves inspired by classic hip hop tracks by many artist across the genre. With extra fills and different patterns this is a library that any hip hop producer/ performer needs to have at his/hers disposal. Check the demo and the reviews.
Classic Breaks is a library we are especially proud of. We have taken classic sampled breaks that we all know from Amen to Apache to Hot pants and using our drummers rendered them in Midi format. This has really opened up another world to experiment with breaks, imagine using Amen at any tempo with your favorite sampled snare or kick or even in an 808, it is like taking Gregory Sylvester and having him drum that exact break again only at any tempo and on any kit you choose, same groove, totally different sound. Think about it!. In this library there are 150 classic breaks accurately drummed in the Midi format and its a must for producers of D&B, Hip hop, Jungle, Breakbeat, everything!!!!!!!. . Beatzandbreakz grooves are standard type 1 GM MIDI files and are guaranteed to work with all GM compatible programs such as, Logic, Cubase, Pro Tools, Reason, Fruity Loops & FL Studio,Acid, Live, and Cakewalk's Sonar etc – any program that uses standard MIDI files.
For use with drum synth's, midi files mapped for BFD, EzDrummer and Addictive Drums are included in every pack. With more mapping's for others on the way.
This is just the start of the beatzandbreakz journey, we are already working on the follow up packages that will be available at discount to registered users of the site very soon. But we do not want to do this alone, we want your input. We want to know what you want in your midi library, we want to know what breaks you would love to have, the drum tracks to songs that inspire you, the hip hop artists that have the sickest beats that you want, so that we can build a library thats accessible to everyone not just the dudes at the top of the tree.
